Because Reading Reform Foundation only charges the public schools 20% of its program costs, it must raise the other 80% from individuals, corporate, private and government sources. Funders range from Consolidated Edison to the New York City Council. Membership dues also help keep fees low for program activities. Earmarked Gifts: You may earmark your donation for a specific Reading Reform Foundation activity:
- In-school training program materials for one classroom
teacher - $150
- Scholarship for one classroom teacher to attend an
RRF course - $200
- 35 reading books for one classroom - $700
- Training courses for 10 teachers - $1,500
- Reading books for ten classrooms - $7,000
- One trainer to train two classroom teachers for a school
year, including books and materials - $25,000
- Train one classroom teacher for the school year - $12,500
General Donations: Gifts for general support in any amount are gratefully accepted throughout the year. The names of all contributors are published each year in Reading Reform Foundation's annual review.
