Leona D. Spector has a Master's degree with a specialization in corrective reading from Hunter College. She is the author of Spector Phonics: A Guideline to a Multisensory Reading Program, which is being used in many schools.
Mrs. Spector is a consultant, teacher trainer and Fellow of the Orton- Gillingham Academy. She has trained hundreds of classroom teachers, paraprofessionals and volunteers.
She is a founder of the New York Branch of the International Dyslexia Association and is a Trustee of Reading Reform Foundation of New York. |
